"what happens if it rains on our wedding day?"
A question I get asked many of time, especially in the UK. We can have all seasons within a day sometimes so I get it - the answer is - it rains! I can't stop the rain, we just have to embrace it. But what happens when you decide to get married in southern Italy by the Almafi coast in the beautiful town of Sorrento. Sophie and Danny didn't think the weather was going to be anything they'd have to worry about!
Thundering whilst reading your vows!
A 5pm ceremony time is quite a regular occurrence over in Italy due to the high temperatures during the day, allowing a cooler atmosphere for yourselves and guests. I started the day at 3pm with Sophie and her bridesmaids and mum getting ready in the very lovely Villa Manning Relais, the skies looked lovely, blue skies with a few clouds, perfect conditions! I walked down to the ceremony location at Cloisters a wonderful, city centre venue where the heavens opened. The staff ran around last minute to get the chairs all moved undercover so the ceremony could start.

Sophie and Danny had their reception at The Foreigners Club overlooking the coast and it was such a beautiful setting to be surrounded by family and friends.
