Family & newborn photography

Family comes in different shapes and sizes and I offer photography to capture it all… from maternity and at home sessions to larger family groups capturing the whole group. All based either outdoor or at your own home. Before I was even registered as a self employed photographer I worked at a few different companies working with families and children and it was wonderful to capture moments between people that are cherished.

What does a session INVOLVE?

As a relaxed and natural photographer I look to keep sessions as relaxed as possible so it’s usually a simple wall out on location, this allows any children and animals more space to roam and explore which brings out their personalities and I let them lead the way!

Newborn sessions I suggest staying at home in the comfort of your own surroundings and each session usually lasts an hour, there is always time for feeding, any nappy changes and this is taken into account during the planning stage. It’s all very much documentary and you won’t find me getting involved wrapping babies up in outfits or fancy costumes or squeezing into plant pots or anything like that! It’s about welcoming your new bundle into your life’s and involving you all as a family.
