The top 3 unique wedding venues in nottingham

*in my opinion!

LANGAR HALL

I do love this venue but have only had the pleasure of photographing at it once back in 2021 (which has honestly flown by!) It's got such a quirky and eclectic feel in every room, to the hugely impressive apricot colour front aspect of the building which just looks incredible to the smaller rooms upstairs for getting ready. L&S got married in September and I'm so pleased we got to go for a walk around the grounds for 10 mins or so, for them to have some time together and for us to make use of the lovely area for photographs. I'm actually offering 5% off any booking here at Langar Hall for 2024 & 2025 as i'd love to go back. Contact me here if you're thinking about having this space as your wedding venue and you're looking for a relaxed, documentary style photographer.

Sherwood glade

Being a recommended supplier at this amazing venue is fantastic and I love going back to this magical place set within the trees and woodland. I’ve been lucky enough to have amazing weather both times I’ve been at the venue but they do have a tipi available for those classic British weather days. It’s got such a wonderful feel to it, a real rustic area and the owners are amazing. There's so much scope for doing so many different things, fancy having a falconer or an axe throwing at your reception? There is the space! Aswell as the option for camping too on the grounds. Definitely a firm favourite of mine. I'll be giving 5% off any booking for 2025 bookings at this wonderful space. Get in touch here.

What I really love about this venue is that it feels like a little hive of wildlife in a city location. Did anyone else grow up watching The Secret Garden? It's a beautiful story and they enter into the garden and it's magical and I definitely feel like that at The Walled Garden with all its wonderful flowers, cosy corners, winding pathways and apple tree arch. During any season, the gardeners do an incredible job and it's a lovely place to be. The ceremonies can happen outside, inside or off site which lends itself to what people would prefer. They also have an eco-pledge which is something I personally really connect with, from using organic plant food, using coconut charcoal for BBQ’s, running a garden jamboree (which I attended last year and was lovely to see the community come together) swapping items and chatting about gardening. A wonderful place for a wedding and an all round location for so many events. I'll also be giving 5% off any booking for 2025 bookings here. Get in touch here.
