Hannah & Matt contacted me a year (almost to the date) before their big day looking for a photographer with a natural and relaxed approach to wedding photography. After a few phone calls and back and forth with messages, sharing galleries and summer highlights, they went ahead and got me booked within the week!
We met at first at The Roaches in Staffordshire at sunset (how romantic!) although due to a looming thunderstorm, we met a little earlier to avoid it (luckily we did!) We had a lovely walk and I could instantly see how much Hannah & Matt loved each other, even the way they walked and stood close to each other, you could just see how they were meant to be together.
The wedding day itself crept up very quickly and August was here before we knew it. The day started off at Hannah's family home surrounded by her closest friends and family members, swiftly moving to the church at Alrewas which Hannah & her family had a lot of connection to.
Hannah & Matt are an incredible couple and that was so easy to see by just spending a few days with them... there was a lot of love in the church and at the venue shared amongst friends and family members.
There was so much going on during the day, from Hannah's brother and cousins singing and dancing during the signing of the ceremony, to a band made of family and friends playing at their drinks reception... and even a surprise dance by Hannah's parents! It really was a wonderful day!
Congratulations again to Mr & Mrs Stephens!
