Back when we could be in the same room.
After my recent Instagram poll, the majority of you opted to see a wedding that took place in the autumn of 2020, to be a little more exact, the second week of October.
It actually feels like a lifetime ago that I got to photograph Siobhan and Adam's wedding. After so much frustration, sadness, enthusiasm and uncertainty, the day went ahead and ohhhh my. What a beautiful day.
At this point, weddings were allowed with 15 people indoors with masks and when not seated at the reception you had to wear a mask. *Spot the bridesmaids watching the ceremony from outside the church!
I remember the day so vividly and it was such an honour to be able to photograph, from spending the morning with Siobhan getting ready, to the church, then across the The Walled Gardens in Beeston, it was beautiful. One moment that will always stay with me is Siobhan and Adam's first dance, outside under the pagoda in the gardens, their song playing from a small portable speaker, their closest friends and family surrounding taking the moment in.
Congratulations to Siobhan and Adam (who also recently left me an amazing 5* review a few weeks ago which made me cry!) and who I can't wait to see in a few months at the next wedding of the girl gang!
