Hi, I'm Emma!
I'm a Nottingham based photographer with a twang of a Yorkshire accent.

It's nice to meet you!

I'm basically a little weirdo who loves to photograph real moments. If you'd actually like to know a bit more, keep on scrolling!

I'm a relaxed, laughing, bubbly ball of flesh. I don't like to sit still for too long. I live inbetween Nottingham & Derby, 5 minutes from the M1, 20minutes from the airport & a quick train ride into Nottingham city centre where i'm either seeing friends, eating amazing food or going to gigs. I don't really like routine so I love those weddings that really push the boundaries of traditions. I'm usually found on a day to day basis sitting in a sun spot with either a cup of tea, nose in a book, or with a glass of crsip fresh cider (probs in a can to be fair, no need to dirty a glass!) I love to travel and usually get itchy feet when I don't have a break planned - I'm a sucka' for the sunshine and a blue sky.

You've heard enough of me, want to know about my photography style? I don't blame you! Click

My approach to your day

My approach is simple; I like to capture what happens in front of me. My couples are those that simply want to put their style and personalities into their wedding day, breaking from tradition, having zero traditions, or perhaps going for all the traditions, the main part is that they are  choosing to enjoy it with their closest friends, family and loved ones. There's no need for me to interrupt the flow of the day when I can capture you being you.

I love those quick kisses, the hugs from friends, big belly laughs, the happy tears and even the sad tears. The moments of nervousness and the sighs of relief. The real moments.

The day fly's by so quickly that I do suggest sneaking off for 10-15 minutes for you to have some time together and for us to get some couple photographs. At this point i'll not interfere, we'll have a walk, you'll be talking, immersed in newly wed bliss, and i'll be capturing it. If there's a certain sun spot, or the background behind you makes it seem you have a tree coming out of your head, I will suggest moving, but there will be no 'look at the camera and smile' from me!

Sounds like the kind of wedding photographer you'd like? Head over to my contact page to see if i'm available on your date.
